Finissage of our exhibition entitled Propaganda in World War I will start at 5 p.m. on Tuesday April 5, 2016.
Welcome speech will be delivered by Director-General László Tüske.
Catalog of the exhibition and a volume of studies related to it will be presented by historian Miklós Zeidler, associate professor at the Department of Modern and Contemporary Hungarian History, Eötvös Lorand University, and by historian of ideas Tamás Gusztáv Filep, research fellow at HAS Centre for Social Sciences, Institute for Minority Studies, who will also have a discussion with the curators of the exhibition.
Participants of the round-table discussion will be historian Iván Bertényi, Jr. (Hungarian Historical Institute of Vienna); literary historian László Boka (National Széchényi Library); art historian Anikó Katona (Hungarian National Gallery); literary historian Zsuzsanna Rózsafalvi (National Széchényi Library) and historian Zoltán Oszkár Szőts (Eötvös Lorand University).
Invited participant guest will be Angéla Császár, Jászai Mari Award winning actress.
Marching songs from the collection of Tamás Cseh will be played at the event. After that, presentation of the exhibition will be followed by irregular guided tours held by several guides at various locations.
During the event, the Souvenir Shop of NSZL will be open with prolonged opening hours, and all of our gifts and publications will be available at a discount price. The exhibition can be attended free of charge for the duration of the finissage.
