On 20 February 2024, the Ambassador of Brazil to Hungary, Susanne Kleebank, visited the National Library, where she was received by Judit Gerencsér, Deputy Director General and Zoltán Lewalt-Jezierski, Head of the Director General's Cabinet.
The meeting discussed the possibilities for cultural cooperation between the two national libraries and between the Embassy and the National Széchényi Library (NSZL), with a special focus on jointly organised programmes and exhibitions. The NSZL presented its most important and recent library innovations, and the Ambassador made a number of suggestions for cooperation on future joint events.
