The Theater History Collection of our Library cordially invites you and your friends to the opening ceremony of an exhibition, entitled “…let it be faithful to idea and form, yet free…”, about the first Hungarian edition of Complete Works by Shakespeare on the occasion of the János Arany Memorial Year. The event will start at 5 p.m. on Thursday October 5, 2017.
Our exhibition entitled Hungarian Sound Film Posters 1931–1944 has come to its finishing event.
On the first eve of the event series entitled Orientalists in NSZL, on September 13, 2017, classical philologist, Orientalist, university professor Miklós Maróth will deliver a lecture entitled Philosophical and religious ethics in the Islamic world.

National Széchényi Library cordially invites you and your friends to the presentation ceremony of a book by Gábor Verrasztó entitled Mihály Bogáthy – Unfinished Biography. The event will take place in Boardroom 516 of NSZL, starting at 17:30 on Thursday June 29, 2017.
Theater historian Dr. Ildikó Sirató, Head of the Theater Collection of National Széchényi Library will have a discussion with the author, and the book will also be recommended by her.
A book containing works by major Hungarian novelist Zsigmond Móricz, so far unpublished in a book and recently published by Szépmíves Publishing House, will be presented in National Széchényi Library at 5 p.m. on June 15, 2017.
