On the day of the Night of Museums event, Saturday 20 June 2026, the library will be open from 9:00 to 17:00. Stack requests may be submitted until 16:00.

The Night of Museums programmes at the NSZL start at 6 PM. From that time onward, the building can only be visited with the official wristband of the event.

  • Tuesday–Thursday: 10.00–17.00

Reading Rooms of the General Collection:

Repository requests can be submitted: from Tuesday to Thursday and on Saturday until 17.00, on Friday until 18.00.

 

Special Collections:

  • Tuesday–Thursday: 10.00–18.00
  • Friday and Saturday: 9.00–19.00

Requests for documents belonging to the Special Collections can be submitted until 16.30 the day before your planned visit during weekdays and for Saturday until 13.00 on Friday.

 

Historical Photo and Video Collection:

Library of Book History, Library and Information Science:
