A volume of essays entitled Ha szabad így mondanom (If I May Say So) by András Udvarhelyi will be presented in the Ceremonial Hall of NSZL at 5 p.m. on September 22, 2016, on György Faludy’s birthday.
This fall, too, National Széchényi Library will take part in the event entitled European Heritage Days. The title of NSZL’s building historical walk is “Metamorphosis and symbiosis”.
On the occasion of the 275th anniversary of the birth and the 230th anniversary of the death of Móric Benyovszky, the excellent Hungarian soldier, explorer, geographic descriptor, THE BENYOVSZKY MEMORIAL COMMITTEE will present programs of the Memorial Year on the Night of Museums 2016. Invited to the event will be eminent scholars, artists, public figures and those caring for the memory of Móric Benyovszky.

The 70th jubilee exhibition of textile artist Noémi szeredi Ambrus will be opened at 4 p.m. on Thursday June 16, 2015, in the Ars Librorum exhibition space of National Széchényi Library.

At 5 p.m. on June 2, 2016 we will present a volume including 77, so far unknown stories written for adults by Ervin Lázár. We are looking forward to seeing you and your friends at the presentation of the book entitled “A valóság íze” (Taste of Reality). Venue of the event will be Room 516 of National Széchényi Library (Wing “F” of Buda Royal Palace).
The International Association of Gulag Researchers will hold an international conference entitled “Gulag Researchers, 7th District of Budapest, Carpathian Basin – Málenkij robot, remembrance” in National Széchényi Library.
