This year too National Széchényi Library will take part in Festive Book Week organized on the 88th occasion by the founder, the Hungarian Publishers' and Booksellers' Association between June 8 and 11, 2017.

Night of Museums in National Széchényi Library on June 24, 2017!

A book containing works by major Hungarian novelist Zsigmond Móricz, so far unpublished in a book and recently published by Szépmíves Publishing House, will be presented in National Széchényi Library at 5 p.m. on June 15, 2017.

Ministry of Culture and National Heritage of Poland and Polish Book Institute organized an expert conference on the policies supporting reading. The conference “New Spaces of Reading - Visegrad Conference 2017” has been planned within the Visegrad Group format, but aims at bringing together experts from different areas and regions to share successful projects and practices in this realm.

The Hungarian Pen Club, National Széchényi Library and the Hungarian-Chinese Friendship Association cordially invite you to a Chinese-Hungarian poetry evening and the presentation ceremony of a volume of poems by Jidi Majia entitled Én, a hópárduc (Me, the Snow Panther).

Just like last year, this May too, National Széchényi Library will participate in the so-called Summering of Museums, an event held in the garden of the Hungarian National Museum on May 20 and 21, 2017.

National Széchényi Library and COMP-REND Ltd. cordially invite you to the opening ceremony of Tompa 200 “The song may not have been forgotten”, an exhibition on the occasion of the 200th anniversary of Mihály Tompa's birth.
