NSZL welcomes the special anniversary year commemorating 400 years since the death of William Shakespeare by opening a chamber exhibition entitled “Shakespeare’s Heroes” at 4.30 p.m. on Thursday July 7, 2016.

At 1 p.m. on August 5 and 12, guided tours will be held at our exhibition entitled Zichy’s Drawn Heroes.

Dear Visitors,

We would like to inform you that today, on July 19, between 1.30 p.m. and 10 p.m. there will be an advertising film shooting in Lion Courtyard. Visitors who arrive to have a look at our Zichy exhibition may occasionally be stopped for a few minutes. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Dear Readers,

Our library will be closed between July 18, 2016 and August 22, 2016. The Mihály Zichy exhibition will be open until September 15, 2016, even during the summer closure of National Széchényi Library.
