OUTDOOR POSTER EXHIBITION
Venue: the ramp leading to the Gloriette of the Castle Garden Bazaar

An outdoor exhibition on the ramp leading to the Gloriette of the Castle Garden Bazaar offers football fans and visitors a glimpse of the earliest days of Hungarian football. Artworks from the heyday of poster art and contemporary sports photographs – courtesy of Nemzeti Sport – capture the captivating atmosphere of the game with spectacular movements of the players.

Football gained enormous popularity in a short span of time in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, thanks largely to the game's simple rules and low equipment requirements. On the level of the Buda Castle, between the Royal Guard and the Lion Courtyard, visitors can see rare posters from the period when football's popularity skyrocketed.
