Between 21 and 24 October 2023, Dávid Rózsa, Director General, and Zoltán Lewalt-Jezierski, Head of Cabinet, represented Hungary at the 3rd China – CEEC (Central and Eastern European Countries) Curators' Forum of Libraries Union in the Nanjing Library, China.

The event provided a good opportunity to make Hungarian cultural heritage – and in a broader sense Hungarian culture  – visible on an international level. The forum was created five years ago in Hangzhou with the participation of fifty libraries, with the members signing an agreement to support each other.

The event was hosted by the Library of Nanjing, China. Nanjing is a famous historical and cultural city in China, known as the "Ancient Capital of the Six Dynasties", and is home to China's third largest collection of written and printed books, the fourth largest in Asia, and the country's largest professional restoration workshop of early books.

In his speech, Dávid Rózsa explored the interconnections between artificial intelligence, smart cities and cultural institutions, and then spoke about the developments, innovations and collaborations of the National Széchényi Libraray.
