Cavafy anniversary at the National Library of Foreign Literature

The National Library of Foreign Languages celebrated the anniversary of the birth of the internationally renowned Greek writer on 6 October 2023. The event was organised by the Manolis Glezos Greek School, which has always placed great emphasis on the preservation of Greek traditions, and was graced by the presence of the First Secretary of the Embassy of the Greek Republic in Hungary, Despoina Tzanakaki, and the President of the National Self-Government of the Greeks in Hungary, Konstantinos Hristodoulou.
The guests were given a presentation on the life and work of the author, followed by a recital in Greek of poems by Kavafis' poems in Greek by the school's pupils, children of Greek nationality living in our country.
