Dear Readers and Visitors!
In line with Government Decree No. 104/2021. (III. 5.) our services will be modified as of March 8, 2021 as follows.
The personally available public services are still suspended pursuant to Government Decree 484/2020 (XI. 10.). Our reading rooms will be closed and all our on-site events that require personal participation will be cancelled.
- The allocation of international publication identifiers (ISBN, ISMN and ISSN numbers) will continue to operate uninterruptedly, on duty, via e-mail.
- The submission of legal deposit copies will be suspended between March 8 and 22, 2021.
- From March 8, 2021, we can offer a specific deadline for each order of our copy services, of which we will notify our customers by e-mail after receiving the request. Paper-based orders can only be delivered by post, cash on delivery, for a fee of HUF 1,500. Your order will be handed over to the courier service on the day it is completed, which will deliver the package to the address you provided the next working day between 8 am and 7 pm depending on the traffic and the number of packages. Postal packages are delivered every Tuesday and Thursday.
Fees for digitally requested / available (non-copyrighted) materials can be paid by bank transfer. In this case, we will send you the invoice by post, after which we will provide you with a secure FTP download link from which you can download your order.
- Interlibrary document supply and location register service will continue to operate, but as of March 8, 2021, requests may take longer to complete, so we kindly ask for patience from our partners. We also set a specific deadline for the delivery and transmission of physical documents and the sending of electronic copies. Please contact our staff primarily by e-mail, interlibrary loan administrators at konkoz@oszk.hu, location register service at kkk1@oszk.hu.
Our Central Information Service continues to operate Monday through Friday from 9 am to 5 pm. The service is available at +36 1 224 3845 and +36 1 224 3848.
Although the reading rooms will temporarily be closed for visitors, registered readers will have remote access to some of the subscribed databases. If you want to use this service, please, submit your e-mail address at inform@oszk.hu.
