Cooperation agreement between the National Library of Mongolia and the NSZL

On 5 April 2023, Dr. Borbála Obrusánszky, Ambassador of Hungary to Ulaanbaatar, on behalf of the National Széchényi Library (NSZL) and with her authorization, signed a cooperation agreement with the National Library of Mongolia (MNM) at the launch of the volume of Sándor Petőfi's poems in Ulaanbaatar.

In the contract the parties agreed on the following:

The NSZL and the MNM share the goal of preserving, processing, servicing and making available the cultural and intellectual heritage of both countries, actively participating in the creation and continuous development of a knowledge-based society and ensuring broad access to the information needed for competitive knowledge.

The Parties agree to provide each other with publications and other documents which may be of interest to the other Party.

They cooperate in the digitisation and digital exchange of documents from their library collections.

They cooperate in the organisation of exhibitions, academic conferences, dissemination lectures and events, and facilitate the participation of colleagues in these events to develop academic cooperation.

They agree to organise professional exchange programmes for their colleagues to ensure continuous professional development and training.
