Cooperation agreement with the national library of the Republic of Cuba

His Excellency Guillermo Vázquez Moreno, Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba and Dávid Rózsa, Director General of the NSZL signed a cooperation agreement on 26 January 2023 at the National Széchényi Library.

The Ambassador, representing the National Library José Martí stressed that with today's agreement 'we are not only making history, but also building a new relationship, a mutual understanding of the life, culture, science and art of our peoples, for the benefit of all'.

In his speech, Director General Dávid Rózsa pointed out that celebrating traditions and anniversaries and passing on our cultural assets to future generations is of paramount importance for both nations. He welcomed the openness of the Republic of Cuba to discuss library issues, which resulted in the agreement signed today.
