Our colleagues' article on the international project to support right clearance

In the current issue of the journal Tudományos és Műszaki Tájékoztatás (Scientific and Technological Bulletin), our colleagues Szabolcs Dancs and Rita Radó provide a detailed presentation of the E-books on Demand – Network "EODOPEN" project, in which the National Széchényi Library is actively participating.

The article informs us that the tender was preceded by the E-books on Demand initiative launched in 2008. As a member and leader of the work group no. 6, the most important task of our national library in the framework of the cooperation launched in 2019 is to design and develop a rights clearance documentation tool that is compatible with the national library’s own systems and takes into account the interoperability requirements of the partner institutions, i.e. the interoperability of different IT systems.

A detailed report on the structure and progress of the project, which started in 2019, can be found in the Tudományos és Műszaki Tájékoztatás (Scientific and Technological Bulletin), volume 69, issue 5.
