Holiday and Special Opening Hours

 

We kindly inform our readers and visitors that our library will be open on 18th October, between 23rd and 25th October, and on 1st November 2025 as follows:

 

 

National Széchényi Library (OSZK)
Registration desk: 9:00–18:00
General and Special Collections Reading Rooms: 9:00–19:00
Requests from the General Collection’s storage can be submitted until 18:00.
Historical Photography and Interview Collection: 10:00–17:00
Library of Book History, Library and Information Science: 10:00–17:00
Exhibitions: 10:00–18:00 PM
Bookshop: 10:00–17:00

National Library of Foreign Literature (OIK):
10:00–19:00

 

 

The OIK will reopen with regular opening hours on Monday, 27th October,
and OSZK reopens on Tuesday, 28th October.

 

 

The OIK will reopen with regular opening hours on Monday, 3rd November,
and OSZK on Tuesday, 4th November.
