The National Library of Foreign Literature will reopen on 2 May 2023 and all services will be fully accessible again.

We look forward to welcoming our new and old readers again
with the following opening hours:
Monday: 10:00–17:00
Tuesday: 10:00–17:00
Wednesday: 10:00–20:00
Thursday: closed
Friday: 10:00–20:00

Our services are available on four working days of the week, with extended opening hours on two days and discounted registration fees (annual 2500 HUF / discounted 1000 HUF).

For those who have already registered for 2023 and those who have bought an annual reading pass during the year, we will extend their reading pass by 6 months.

The use of the book rental machine at the entrance will continue to be available 24/7.
