The National Library Welcomes Its Readers During the 35th Budapest Wine Festival

The Budapest Wine Festival will once again take place in Buda Castle from 9 to 12 September 2026. During the event, the National Széchényi Library will operate according to its usual opening hours, and all library services will remain available as normal.

 

Readers can also access the library through the festival area. To pass through the festival area, readers can collect the library wristband required for access from the security staff at the Palota Road lift entrance by presenting their library card. Festival staff on site will provide information regarding entry to and passage through the festival area.
