In order to let you plan your research as best you can, hereby we inform you that reconstruction work associated with St. Stephen Hall in the territory of Budapest History Museum has reached the phase of active demolition. Due to this, there will be almost continuous and, at times, rather strong noise nuisance in the common research room of NSZL’s Manuscript Collection and the Early Printed Books Archive. According to information provided by the Buda Castle Inspectorate, this work phase will last until the end of March. After that, we expect to render you the usual undisturbed circumstances required for research work.

Another inconvenience is that most probably there will be only partial power supply in the reading room until March 27, due to which, there is unfortunately no lighting.

Thank you for your understanding.
