National Széchényi Library will join BudapestArtWeek cultural festival beginning on April 19, 2016 and lasting for six days.
BudapestArtWeek is a new initiative, a series of programs to be held for the first time, meant to give a boost to and provide a compass for lovers of fine arts and also to essentially complement the classical arts program series of Budapest Spring Festival. BudapestArtWeek synchronizes nearly 60 arts events. In addition to their own events, the cooperating institutions, such as museums, galleries, community sites and studios, will organize community-building discussions, public meetings and museum pedagogical programs, all of which provide an excellent opportunity for personal meetings.
National Széchényi Library will join the series of programs with an exhibition entitled Jewish Manuscripts and Ceremonial Objects, to be accompanied by guided tours.
