Between December 10 and 23, you can buy a number of our publications – books, CDs, posters – and various souvenirs with a 15 percent discount in our shop located at the main entrance of National Széchényi Library. We would also like to draw your attention to a new arrival group of souvenirs related to the Propaganda in World War I exhibition.

Please, note that the 15 percent discount cannot be used in combination with other discounts.

Our library will be closed between December 24, 2015 and January 4, 2016. During this period, no visitors will be accepted at our temporary exhibitions either. We are looking forward to seeing you again as of 9 a.m. Tuesday January 5, 2016. Opening hours of NSZL will be longer again: with the exception of Monday and Sunday, we are waiting for you between 9 a.m. and 8 p.m.

Metadata in COinS format, which can automatically be collected by popular bibliography management application dubbed Zotero, have been included in the website containing tables of contents of periodicals archived in Electronic Periodicals Archive & Database (Hungarian abbreviation: EPA).

On Saturday November 28, 2015 the General Collection Reading Room of the Library will be closed one hour earlier, at 6 p.m. because the Choir of NSZL will hold a jubilee concert. We apologize for any inconvenience caused.
